i have lived with mirrors my entire life and yet somehow the mirror in my bedroom in this particular apartment messes with me like no other mirror has. not just the reflection through the window thing but. right now i have a light on and the reflection has a glow to it that place that it's reflecting does not. this mirror insists on smashing whatever remains of my naive assumption that reflections in mirrors look "the same" as whatever they are reflecting. it literally "looks different" over there, not enough people are talking about this, why is everyone so normal about mirrors when actually they're so weird, i should really go to sleep now
